Hi everyone, I’m back and I have some great news about Masumi, My Photography and more…

Compression

So a few weeks back, we wen’t to get an oil change for Masumi at Terminus Motors (a great crew of skilled mechanics passionate about the RX-8). We also planed to have Engine Restore mixed in with the new oil, If you don’t know, Engine Restore is a thick lubricant that repairs imperfections in the engine chambers, this improves the compression performance and overall health of the engine (or so we hope)…

It will take some time for the results to be noticeable, but hopefully Engine Restore should at least delay the need for Masumi to have an engine rebuild. So far though, Masumi has  improved in performance, smoothness of ride and many other things, hopefully this all goes to plan.

Photography

Recently I joined a photography site called ViewBug. It’s basically a photo posting and photography competition platform. It’s great because you can win all sorts of prizes like cameras, lenses and gift cards if your into that kind of thing. I’ve also posted quite a few images by now and I’m also gaining quite a following to! Hopefully my shots gain in popularity to the point of me being able to sell some prints…

I’d recommend ViewBug for anyone keen on photography as it’s an easy, free and great tool to get your photos out there…

The Under 17 Car Club

I also found an awesome club called “The Under 17 Car Club”. Essentially it’s a car club where anyone from 11 up can bring or borrow a car to practise driving in realistic scenarios, The Under 17 Car Club’s aim and main goal is to make young drivers more aware and safe on the road, they can do this by giving them years of experience in hundreds of vehicles before they even take their driving test. We went to one of the open days there for an in depth look at how the club works, we found that the people that attend to the club are so confident and calm behind the wheel that they even showed us round track in our car! Hopefully, I’ll start driving with them in the new year for learning to drive Masumi and hopefully, taking her out on the track at some point…

Anyways, that’s it from me, see you in the next one. 😉
